- Our President returned on 30th June 2007, after having spent over a month in China. During his stay, he contacted Chinese artists and cultural representatives in preparation for cultural exchanges and art exhibits in China and Monaco. An agreement between the Association and the University of Foreign Languages of the City of Changchun was signed so as to facilitate the exchange of both students and teachers.
- We invite you to come and meet us at the Forum of Monaco's Cultural Associations to be held at the Auditorium Rainier III on 15-16 September 2007 between 1-7PM.
- Starting 19th September 2007, the Association will offer Chinese language courses to individuals residing in Monaco and nearby communities.
- The Association is also planning to organize courses in calligraphy.
- Last July the Association started its “Give a Book” program, collecting pocket books for Chinese students learning French.
- Also in July the Association began its “Give a Keyboard” program, collecting Azerty keyboards for Chinese students learning French.
- To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Chinese artists will be come and set an exhibit at the Atrium of the Casino de Monte-Carlo in February 2008.
- We are studying a project that will take Monegasque students on a trip to China.
Chinese Language Classes
Starting September 19th 2007, the Monaco-China Association will offer Chinese classes at the Collège Charles III to individuals residing in Monaco and nearby communities. Classes for the 2007/2008 school year will meet on Wednesdays between 12:15 and 13:45 hrs. Annual Registration: 125 Euros plus 25 Euros Subscription Fee.
